Nauvoo

On our way back to Texas we decided to take a small detour and stop in Nauvoo, IL. Thanks to mom and dad Kerns who suggested the idea and made the trip possible. We had a great time. The temple was beautiful and we had a lot of fun experiencing some of the tours.

Mason and Abby found some acorns on a tree in Nauvoo, they thought it was so cool. I realized they had never seen a real acorn before. They walked around with them all day.

Mason and Sam playing a stick game that young kids used to play.

Mason and Abby all dressed up as pioneers.

Here we are on a wagon tour ride through Historic Nauvoo.

How fun that you found us!! I love that it has been so long and we are married with kids...do you remember the "pregnant" pics we took in middle school? Your kids are adorable and your little boy is so Vick! Thanks for writing...I am anxious to go back and read your entries.
PS I can't believe you are in Texas, we lived 1 1/2 hrs from you in Houston!!

Yay for Vicks! Yay for technology! Congrats on baby #3, and you are all beautiful--your kids look like they love each other and are best friends...are they good actors or really that sweet? Laughed at the sleeping pics. Love your blog!
