Abby tells me all the time that she wants to be a kid forever and live with us forever. She says she doesn't want to be big and be a mommy....I think it is so cute and I tell her that is just fine, I mean, I know she will not say this forever so I just soak it up. But the fact is, we all have to grow up, we all get older, no matter how young we feel or how bad we want to stay young, it's just what happens, and folks it has happened to me...I turned the big 3-0!!! And for some reason I feel like I have to be a real grown up now, like I have to be all mature or something and act my age...I doubt this will happen though. I still feel like I am 18.
Everyone made my birthday special with phone calls and email messages. I had a fun girls night at the Cheesecake Factory and Sam threw me a birthday party. It was great!

Sam made the hugest cake I have ever seen, he surprised me and took the day off and took me out to brunch, then he spent the rest of the day making this giant cake, it was AWESOME!
Can you guess how many cakes it took to make this thing?.....I'll post the cake making process and reveal the amount of cakes there.

Happy Happy 30th! That is, by far, the BIGGEST cake I've ever seen. Looks like you guys had a great time. I hope you invited the entire neighborhood over to eat that cake. Gosh! First, Sam is awesome! That cake is cracking me up, especially with the big candles. That is just way too fun. And I'm going to guess 8 cakes. Maybe 12, but I think 8? Insane..I love it! HAPPY BIRTHDAY missy!
