Utah back to Missouri 1,353 miles 21 hours 44 minutes
Sam flew out to Utah for the weekend to celebrate and was able to drive the kids and I back home so I didn't have to do it alone. We drove straight through, left Utah at 3am Sunday and got back to Missouri at about 2am Monday. It was crazy but we made it. I have amazing little travelers, they were great.
We got back in town just in time for Mason to start school, Sam and I to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary and to plan a birthday party for Abby.
No pictures to document the first day of school, but he loves it and is reading really well already.
This is the only picture I got for our little celebration. We went to the Temple and then to one of our favorite restaurants. It was a nice evening.
Abby was able to go to the "hippo place" for her birthday, she invited her 2 best buddies, they had a great time.
This is the purse cake that Sam and I made and copied from the cake we saw at Walmart. It was super easy and she loved it.
We had a little party and this is our ghetto pinata set up. We realized after we got the pinata that we don't have any trees, love new subdivisions for that!
And this is what we had to do when no one could bust the thing open. I pitched it to Sam and that did the trick.
The birthday girl, growing up so fast.
Little Miss, sneaking a few licks.
