We got him at the shelter, previous owners were getting divorced and they had to part with the dog.
He is everything that a non-pet person would want:
housebroken
kennel trained
Understands: Sit, stay, heel, quiet
Supposedly is whistle trained, but we haven't found a working whistle to try.
Lays around most of the day
Great with kids
Just turned 9, so he can't live too long(I know I sound heartless, but I am seriously not a pet person)
With all that said is it bad that I secretly want to get rid of him?
He started shedding this week....'nuff said!

That really is the perfect pet. I keep telling my husband that I would get a dog tomorrow if it were old, slow, obedient and house trained.
I love labs. They are the best.
